World Children’s Day is a day dedicated to celebrating the birth and the rights of children. The reality, however, is that not every child has access to the same rights. Despite the United Nations’ efforts in paving the way to champion this cause by creating agencies such as UNICEF, much more remains to be done to ensure that every child’s rights are met.
